Camino

15 organizations engaged in the creation of nearly 300 flags with intentions for hope and healing for anyone suffering from pain, hurt or illness during the holidays. From the youngest age 3 to age 95, participants created heart-felt symbols with their own meaningful messages to loved ones, pets, the community-at-large, and the world. Volunteers stitched the flags together, which are now displayed in the covered breezeway of the Beacon House at 430 S. Webster Ave, Green Bay.

Thank you to our participants in the Prayer Flag Project for their gifts of hope and healing!

Thank you to Cancer Fighters of Green Bay for sponsoring 2nd Annual “Paws Parade of Hope!”

Participants in a Pet “Fashion Show” held on Sunday, April 13, shared stories and paraded some of the best dressed dogs in Green Bay in front of the enthusiastic crowd as a way of honoring how pets have been therapeutic in our lives.  Thank you to the sponsors of this 2nd annual event, Green Bay Chapter of Cancer Fighters, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and Golrusk Pet Care Center for donating the proceeds from the event to Beacon House, Inc. and the Bay Area Humane Society. We received a check for $5,500, which enables us to deliver programs and services at the Beacon House for anyone affected by life-changing illness.
