“I was surprised to discover that the mosaic process, in and of itself, evolved into a meditative experience. That was very healing for me.”
— Darryl Beers
“Mosaic, like recovery, involves taking the broken pieces and putting them together in a new way. Support and synchronicity spring from sharing the same process, but [they] produce unique and different outcomes.” — Mary Ann Hill
“The human spirit needs connection to heal. This project brought realization that one is not alone in the journey. To create a mosaic is to have personal moments of connection among the separate tiles [as they evolve] into wholeness, and between the mosaicist and art.”
— Joellyn Kacynski
